Tony TornbergPresident & CEOTony is the CEO and founder of LeverageTek. Born in Halifax, NS Tony spent his early childhood living in Charlottetown, PEI. Along with his mother and brother, their small family moved to Calgary, AB in the early 80s where Tony spent his formative years prior to moving to the interior of British Columbia to play junior hockey. Tony attended Saint Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, NS where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a Major in Psychology in 1998. Prior to settling down in Ottawa in 2000, Tony lived in the GTA where he started his recruitment career servicing the thriving financial district of downtown Toronto. In 2003, Tony founded LeverageTek and has not looked back. He and his wife, Cynthia, make there home south of Ottawa in Manotick with their 3 children. The family enjoys travel and have visited many countries together such as Greece, France, and Italy. In his spare time, Tony volunteers his time to youth sports. He enjoys playing music, running and has recently taken up golf. |
Lindsay OzeroManager of RecruiterLindsay Ozero has over 10 years of International Recruitment experience. She started her career in Amsterdam and has recruited in a broad range of industries including Accounting & Finance, Administrative & Office, Sales & Marketing and Legal. She has specialized in Technology recruitment since joining LeverageTek in 2016. As Recruitment Lead Lindsay works closely with the recruitment team to ensure the fastest and highest quality execution to serve our clients. Lindsay is passionate about people and talent and, given her broad experience in generalist recruiting on a global scale, she knows what good looks like. |
Chris FrancisVP of SalesChris Francis is LeverageTek’s VP of Sales and has been with the organization since May 2006. His ability to connect with people both inside and outside of the organization has made him a key member of LeverageTek’s management team since its earliest days. An eternal optimist, he is constantly seeking ways to ensure success for all stakeholders in LeverageTek’s engagements. A displaced Maritimer, Chris completed his BBA and BIS at St FX before moving to Ottawa (1999) and working as an Account Executive at Bell Canada for five years. He returned to the east coast (Saint Mary’s) to complete his MBA and enjoy 18mos living in Halifax, NS. Shortly after his return to Ottawa in early 2006, he reconnected with a good friend from his StFX days, Tony Tornberg - LeverageTek President and Founder, to be the second employee of the organization. His spare time is focused on shuttling his two kids to sporting events and cooking & entertaining with his wife Jasmine. |
Cindy JonesProposal ManagerCindy Jones is a Proposal Manager with over 20 years of proposal management expertise. She is responsible for improving and expanding LeverageTek’s proposal process and building our government customer base. Cindy is passionate about quality and is detail oriented, always striving for improvement and efficiency. With her proven track record supporting the business development process in writing/preparing winning proposals for public and private sector customers, she helps LeverageTek continue to grow. Outside of work, Cindy enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. |
Mark ProvenzanoDirector of Business DevelopmentMark Provenzano is a Sales Professional with almost 20 years of Sales and Business Development experience. As Director of Business Development, he is responsible for managing key customer relationships and customer retention. He is also responsible for expanding LeverageTek’s business through new customer acquisition. Mark works very closely with other members of LeverageTek’s leadership team to develop ongoing Sales strategy with the goal of continuous growth and excellent service delivery to our valued current and future customers.

Paul YeeChief Financial OfficerPaulina Yee is LeverageTek’s CFO and has been providing financial leadership and guidance to the organization since June 2019. As a seasoned financial professional with over 30 years of experience, she is a clear thinker and is able to convey key information and concepts to facilitate discussion and decision making. A Chartered Professional Accountant, Paulina also holds a Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo. Outside of work, Paulina volunteers on the Audit Committee of the Ottawa Hospital Foundation. She is also very passionate about baking and is often whipping up a batch of cookies or yet another loaf of sourdough. |
TJ KadarSr Operations & Payroll AdministratorTJ joined LeverageTek in winter 2014 as an administrative assistant, she has since taken over as Manager of Corporate Services, where she takes care of a multitude of different tasks to aid in keeping things running smoothly. |
Shelbie DennisonAdministrative CoordinatorLeverageTek’s first Co-Op student ever! She joined the team in May 2020 to finish her last semester of the Business Administration Program with Algonquin College, where she majored in Supply Chain and Operations Management. Shelbie has strong Microsoft Excel and Office 365 skills: along with an effective understanding of Government, Crown Corporation, and Private Sector Service Contracts. She is quite organized and driven to make improvements wherever she can. |
Justine LavalleeRecruitment CoordinatorJustine is the administrative assistant with LeverageTek. She joined the team shortly after finishing her degree in Criminology with a concentration in Law. During her university years, she worked in the client services industry enhancing her organizational, multitasking and communication skills. When she isn't working, Justine enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading and travelling. |
Simranjeet Kaur SidhuTechnical RecruiterSimran hails from India where she completed her bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Accounting before moving to Canada. She further completed her Post Graduation in Human Resources and Project Management from Algonquin College. A true go-getter, Simran strives to achieve success on all fronts and is always willing and able to face challenges head on. Simran has acquired four years of experience in administration and customer service management and brings vast knowledge and experience to the table. She firmly believes that one must always make a difference in people's lives which in turn will make the world a better place to live. During her free time Simran enjoys trying out new recipes in the kitchen, learning the piano, and spending time with her friends. Mabel TruongOperations & Payroll AdministratorMabel moved to Toronto from Vietnam to pursue her post graduate program in Human Resources Management in 2017 and then moved to Ottawa in 2020. She started her HR/ Payroll Career as an HR Assistant at Sony Electronics Vietnam in 2016 and have had 5 years of experience in office administration, customer service management in Vietnam and Canada. Possessing an exceptional communication, problem-solving skills and is a great teammate, Mabel is definitely a great asset to our organization.

Melissa EdwardsTechnical RecruiterMelissa joined LeverageTek as a technical recruiter in the winter of 2022. Melissa graduated from Syracuse University in New York with a M.A in Linguistics, and a M.S in Forensic Science. Prior to starting at LeverageTek Melissa acquired three years of technical industry experience working as a business analyst, and two years of experience working in a police department near Baltimore as a Crime Analyst. Melissa is a fluid French speaker.
