LeverageTek supports Child Haven - EveningFest

On Saturday, October 15th, LeverageTek was a proud sponsor of the EveningFest Gala – an event organized to raise money for Child Haven International.  Child Haven is an Ontario based charity organization that assists women and children in developing countries with food, education, clothing and shelter.  The organization has built and operates 8 homes for destitute children – 5 in India, one each in Nepal, Bangladesh, and Tibet.  Through Child Haven’s efforts over the past 25 years, literally thousands of women and children have been able to lead healthy and productive lifestyles who would otherwise be denied such opportunity.

This was the 11th edition of EveningFest Gala and the most successful one to date.  The event was held at the stunning new Ottawa Convention Centre on the 4th floor overlooking the Rideau Canal and Parliament Buildings. Over 400 people attended the event and enjoyed the food and drink, the fabulous entertainment, silent auction items from around the world and the smiling faces of hundreds. 

LeverageTek’s Director of Sales, Chris Francis, has worked with the EveningFest organizing committee for the past 3 years and looks forward to working with the team to make the event even better next year for EveningFest 12.  The date has already been reserved – September 22nd, 2012.  Hope to see you there!
