LeverageTek is awarded TBIPS refresh!

LeverageTek is very pleased to announce that we have been awarded the Task Based Informatics Professional Services (TBIPS) Supply Arrangement and Standing Offer to provide IT Professional services to the Federal Government of Canada.  The new Supply Arrangement replaces our firm's original TBIPS SA/SO and offers significantly improved flexibility to support seasoned IT consultants across all classes and sub-classes of IT/IM.

To date LeverageTek has provided specialized IT professional services to numerous Government of Canada departments and agencies, such as Environment Canada, PWGSC, DND, Industry Canada, Transport Canada, HRSDC, Statistics Canada, TBS, CIHR, Fisheries & Oceans Canada, and Agriculture Canada to name but a few. Our public sector customers are extremely important to us and we look forward to strengthening our relationships and building upon our reputation with the help of the new and improved TBIPS Supply Arrangement and Standing Offer.

The TBIPS Supply Arrangement is the preferred contract procurement vehicle for many Federal Government departments and agencies.  LeverageTek has responded to multiple TBIPS requests and has earned several contract awards since the procurement vehicle was introduced in the Spring of 2008.  LeverageTek thoroughly understands the time and effort required to properly respond to TBIPS requests for consulting services.  In becoming a LeverageTek Consultant you can be assured that you will be working with Industry experts equipped with the knowledge and experience to deliver a successful bid.  We are excited at the prospect of presenting many exciting opportunities to our valued IT consulting professionals.

Information on TBIPS

(From the PWGSC website):

"TBIPS" are Services related to a particular activity or initiative that are required to address a specific Information Technology (IT) need, which are usually associated with a specified set of responsibilities. The tasks involved are finite work assignments which require one or more consultants to complete.. Tasks may require highly specialized work to be performed requiring rare or unique skill or knowledge for a short period of time.  The maximum dollar value per TBIPS contract is limited to 2 million dollars for the TBIPS Supply Arrangement and up to 250K for the Standing Offer.
There are five key service classes covered in TBIPS and 69 sub-classes (http://www.tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca/app-acq/sptb-tbps/categories-eng.html).
