LeverageTek is actively seeking a Level II Desktop Support Specialist for a 4+ month contract with their Ottawa based client.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 2 support in response to queries received
  • Respond to IT services queries received via problem ticket, phone call or walk-in to the Helpdesk
  • Perform research and development in response to technological enhancements
  • Support, procure, maintain and deploy all end-user software and hardware
  • Maintain IT’s problem and change management tool
  • Ensure quality standards are met, in line with corporate expectations

Qualifications:

  • Experience with the following:
    • Windows 7 and/or 10 environment
    • Microsoft Office 2010 – 2016
    • Microsoft Outlook, Project, Visio
    • Microsoft Lync/Skype
  • End user support with Blackberry devices and BES
  • Resolve printing issues
  • Account profile/password changes etc
  • Resolve connectivity issues (VPN etc)
  • French is asset
