Senior Recruiter

LeverageTek is actively seeking a Senior Recruiter for a permanent position within our organization.

The Technical Recruiter will:

  • Through daily and ongoing networking efforts: identify, screen, and place qualified IT Professionals based on the requirements provided by the LeverageTek Account Manager
  • Screening of each candidate shall include:
    • Telephone interview
    • Face-to-face interview
    • Conducting 2-3 thorough supervisory reference checks in compliance with the LeverageTek reference template
    • Negotiating hourly/ daily rates with candidates
  • Utilize networking skills and internal/ external recruitment resources to update and maintain LeverageTek candidate database on a consistent basis.  Methods may include:
    • Posting on Jobs sites, Newsgroups, User-groups
    • Attending job fairs, user-group meetings
    • Establishing contact with educational facilities
    • Engaging contacts for referrals
  • Assist in the writing of proposals when required
  • Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
  • Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.
  • Network through industry contacts, Association Memberships, Trade and User Groups

Desired Qualifications:

  • University degree from a recognized educational institution
  • 5-10 years of HR or recruiting experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (bilingualism is an asset)
