Network Perimeter Security Support

LeverageTek is actively seeking a Network Perimeter Security Support specialist for a 3 month contract for their Ottawa based customer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for network security perimeter engineering and support for multi-vendor firewalls, content filtering, and virtual private networks

Skills required

• Recent and significant experience in the design and administration of firewalls. Preference may be given to candidates with Checkpoint and/or Cisco firewall experience.
• Recent experience in the design and administration of VPNs.
• Recent experience in the design and administration of content security solutions. Preference may be given to candidates with Websense experience.
• Recent experience in the design and administration of UNIX servers.

Certifications:

Candidates able to demonstrate certification in any of the following would be considered an asset:

• Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA);
• Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE);
• Cisco CCNA Security, CCSP, CCNP Security, CCIE Security;

Duration: 3 months

Security clearance: Secret Level II
