LeverageTek is actively seeking a Firewall Specialist, Cisco/Checkpoint for a contract position with their Ottawa based customer.

Provide status reports in support of the work for Projects Checkpoint upgrades, ASA upgrades, Module upgrades and Evergreen
Build extensive data flows in support of the Evergreening project
Troubleshoot and provide level 2 resolution in adherence to change, incident and ' problem management records using Infoman system.
Document the required processes and procedures
Provide cross training within the team
Perform Data centre shutdown as it pertains to the shutdown of the Firewall services
Maintain detailed records of changes, incident and problems in Infoman system.
Perform system installation/management, performance management, capacity management, change/problem management to maintain the cross platform environments and security products, including:
- Checkpoint
- Contivity
- Nokia Appliance
- Cisco firewalls (PIX, ASA)
- Unix O/S (Solaris, Linux)
- Windows Server 2003
