Desktop Application Deployment Specialists

LeverageTek is actively seeking two Desktop Application Deployment Specialists with imaging & packaging experience for 3-month contract opportunities with our Ottawa based customer.

The successful candidates will be responsible for the following:

Provision of technical expertise on the design, deployment and management of various components of a Desktop Management environment
Provide technical advice to other IT groups within the department regarding equipment/infrastructure requirements
Assist in designing and implementing the target Desktop Management components
Assist in the documenting of server build and configuration documentation, testing/certification and installation documents, operational processes and procedures

Qualification Required:

Working experience with MSI application packaging tool and Wise Installer
Knowledge and understanding of network topologies, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs and NAT, TCP/IP/ DMZs;
Fully knowledgeable in the design, delivery and deployment of various components of a Desktop management solution, including Software Distribution, Inventory Collection, Patch Management and Imaging & Packaging

Duration: 3 months

Security clearance: Secret Level II
